FAQ

How long is the delivery time?

We ship our machines worldwide by air (express) or sea, depending on the machine size and customer preference.

  • Small machines (such as UV subsurface engraving machines and compact fiber laser markers) are normally shipped by air express, door-to-door. The delivery time is about 7–10 days after payment.

  • Large machines can be shipped by sea freight if requested, which usually takes 30–40 days depending on destination.

We will provide a tracking number once the machine is shipped.

Which carrier do you use?

We cooperate with major international logistics companies such as DHL, FedEx, UPS for air express shipping, ensuring fast and reliable delivery.

Do you offer warranty and after-sales service?

Yes. All Rock-Solid Laser machines come with a one-year limited warranty and lifetime technical support.

If any parts have quality problems within the warranty period, we will send replacement parts free of charge, and we will cover all shipping costs for the replacement.

After the warranty expires, we still provide online technical support and spare parts at reasonable cost.

What kind of payment methods do you support?

We accept the following payment methods:

  • PayPal

  • Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, etc.)

  • T/T (Bank Wire Transfer)

Wire transfer usually takes 1–3 business days and has the lowest transaction fee.

PayPal and credit card payments are also accepted for faster processing.

What are the differences between fiber, UV, and CO₂ laser machines?

Fiber laser: Best for engraving and cutting metals (stainless steel, aluminum, brass, etc.) and some plastics. It offers high speed and deep engraving.

UV laser: Ideal for fine surface marking on almost all materials — including glass, plastic, leather, wood, paper, and more. It produces high precision, no-burn marks, and is perfect for frosted glass engraving.

CO₂ laser: Suitable for non-metal materials, especially wood, leather, acrylic, and coated tumblers. It’s ideal for larger surface marking and cutting.

What size lens can I choose?

We offer different field lens sizes, such as 50×50mm, 70×70mm, 110×110mm, 150×150mm, 175×175mm, 210×210mm, and 300×300mm.

  • Smaller lenses produce finer and deeper engraving.

  • Larger lenses allow bigger marking areas but with slightly lower power density.

You can select based on your product size and engraving depth requirements.

Do you provide rotary attachments?

Yes. We offer several types of rotary devices for cylindrical or round objects, including:

  • Small rotary for rings or jewelry,

  • Medium 80mm rotary, and

  • Large 100mm rotary (recommended for most uses).

Rotary attachments are optional and compatible with most Rock-Solid Laser machines.

Can you customize machines or software for specific applications?

Yes. Rock-Solid Laser can offer custom solutions based on your materials, application needs, and production setup.

Please contact us with your requirements, and our technical team will provide a tailored recommendation.

How can I get user manual and demonstration video?

A USB drive will included with the machine, which contains detailed instructions, demonstration videos, and parameter references for different materials, so you can easily operate the machine.

How can I get technical support?

You can reach our support team anytime at techsupport@rsd-laser.com

We respond within 24–48 hours and provide remote assistance via email, video call, or online chat.

Where can I get high-quality 3D models for crystal subsurface engraving?

The USB drive included with the machine contains over 50GB of high-quality 3D models in various formats, such as OBJ, STL, GLB, and grayscale depth maps.

If you need additional models, for example converting a 2D image into a 3D model, you can contact us. Our professional team can create them for you at a small additional cost.

Does the machine require spare parts, and can you provide them?

Our machines use high-spec components, so the failure rate is very low and normally there is no need to prepare special spare parts.

However, if you require continuous operation and a machine failure would cause significant production loss (for example, when used on a production line that cannot stop), then you may consider keeping one spare set of core components, such as the laser source and the galvo scan head.

What is the purchasing process?

You can select the machine configuration on the product page. If everything is clear, you can place the order and make payment directly on the website.

If you have any special requirements, you can also contact us. We will send you a formal quotation. After you confirm it, we will issue a proforma invoice (contract). Then you make the payment to Rock-Solid's bank account listed on the invoice. Once we receive the payment, we will arrange production immediately and ship the machine as soon as possible.
